Following the Slow Food movement, meals are creative, locally supplied produce and meat, bio-dynamic and organic wines with vegan and celiac friendly options. Reservations recommended.
Sparrow’s Nest Organics: A community supported agriculture (CSA) farm north of Edmonton. Buy a garden share supporting locally grown agriculture and enjoy fresh organic produce all summer long. Or visit them at the downtown farmer’s market every Saturday throughout the summer.
Organic Roots Food Market: 8225 112 St. 780.413.1730. Both a health food store and organic restaurant. The health food store has a wide selection of fresh produce, organic groceries, vitamins, supplements, beauty care products and more. The restaurant features a juice bar, organic meat grill, salad bar, pizza oven and more. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options.
Soul Soup: Tasty homemade soup on Rice Howard Way. Locally grown meats, vegetarian and celiac options.

Located on Whyte avenue, this unique store’s main goal has been "to offer people information and products to help them lessen their impact on the environment and society" for over 15 years. Always a great place to refill your laundry or dish soap, discover books ranging from eco gardening to cultural commentary, natural products of all types, organic clothing, bedding, baby products and so much more. You can easily spend hours absorbing all of the information, and materials or simply chatting with one of the friendly staff.

From May to October, the City Market on 104st is a vibrant outdoor market that plays host to many different local vendors from organic farmers with the freshest produce, naturally raised meats and poultry, homemade baked goods, local clothing and jewelry designers, honey, jams and so much more!
